During March, I’m going to be joining in with Kimberly’s Take Control of your TBR Pile Challenge!
If there’s one thing I surely need right now, it’s a bit of TBR-toppling. It’s getting kind of ridiculous, to be honest. I look at the list, see all those wonderful books I have to read and I just get overwhelmed!!
So, here’s the list of books I’ve come up with that I would love to read this month. If I get through even some of them I’ll be happy!

Some are review books, some are from the library, and some have been sitting on my shelf for months. At this stage, at the start of March, I’m feeling determined. I’ll update my progress here through the month.
I can get through this!

Progress reports:
Two weeks – March 14:
Every Breath – done
Rebel of the Sands – done
City of Lost Souls – done
Not too shabby so far! I feel like three books in two weeks isn’t all that much, but I haven’t had lots of reading time. Next, a bit of an unplanned diversion (but still off the to-read pile), Yellow by Megan Jacobson!
Three and a bit weeks – March 23:
Yellow – done
Darth Vader #2: Shadows and Secrets – I snuck in a graphic novel!
Now part-way through Magic Study. We’re about to go away camping this weekend so I’m hoping for some reading time…
Final update – March 31:
Magic Study – done
Missed Periods and Other Grammar Scares by Jenny Baranick – a very funny and lighthearted look at grammar.
The First Third by Will Kostakis – done. An impulse buy at the #YASquad event!
Part way through The Funnyman by Sophia Whittemore.
That’s nine and a half books in total. I’m happy for anything off my TBR mountain to be honest. Sadly a few of these later ones were things I picked up on impulse rather than planned reads, which wasn’t how this challenge was supposed to go!
