Series Spotlight #2: Pushing the Limits Series by Katie McGarry

Welcome to a new feature called Series Spotlight that we hope to do semi regularly on the blog. This space is for featuring a series that has us hooked and gushing and we want to spread the love!

The next series under the spotlight is:

Pushing the Limits Series by Katie McGarry

Where do I begin with this totally epic series other than you must give it a try! I don’t normally enjoy contemporary YA novels but I simply ate up Pushing the Limits in less than 24 hours I thought it was so good.  Each of the subsequent books has been just as engaging.  I love that these books can be read as stand alones or you can read them as the series and understand the loose relationship the main characters have with one another.

Pushing the Limits has won a number of awards including RITA® Award by Romance Writers of America Nominee for Young Adult Romance Finalist, Romantic Times Reviewers’ Choice Award (RT Award) Nominee for Best Young Adult Contemporary Novel (2012), Gayle Wilson Award of Excellence for Young Adult Fiction (2013), Nominated Best First Book RWA Nominee (2013) and New England Reader’s Choice Bean Pot Award for Young Adult Fiction (2013). I’m also excited to hear that Katie McGarry’s next novel Breaking the Limits will take us back to Echo and Noah and what happens after Pushing the Limits finishes.

These books are seriously addictive and if your looking for some great beach reads I don’t think you can go past this series, you’ll meet and fall in love with some really memorable characters.

Have you read this series and do you love it as much as I do?  I would love to hear your thoughts!
