    Oh, man, David Mitchell has been on my tbr list for ages! (have The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet on the to-read pile) His other books also sound and look fantastic, I really need to clear my reading schedule a bit to check out his books xD

    I’ve also only read The Shadows of the Wind. I know there are other books in that series but I just loved the first one so much that I’m almost afraid to continue for fear of disappointment. I’ve had that strange fear several times with series. Clearly, something must have scarred me in my reading past!
