An Update in the Treetops

Hi everyone, Angelya here.

If you’ve been reading the blog lately you might be wondering why it’s just me posting reviews and other posts like the Top Ten. While it’s true that things have been quiet around here lately, we have still been very busy with bookish and other things.

Philippa and IĀ are still recording and producing the Tea in the Treetops Podcast. We’re trying to record fortnightly, but we find it hard to record in the evenings and it can be even harder to find a time to record on weekends without children around! We’re loving our book-related chats though and there are some great themed episodes coming up, so make sure to listen in. The next episode will be about the Dystopian sub-genre.

Happy news

If you’ve been listening to our podcast you might have heard this already, but our co-blogger Natasha has been pregnant with twins. Well we’ve just had word today that the little girls have been born today as planned at 32 weeks and all are well! We’d like to send our biggest congratulations to Natasha and her family and welcome to the little twins!

Following the Sydney Writers Festival Teencon event a few weeks ago, Philly and I have been really getting into posting book-related pictures on Instagram! It’s a much quicker and more immediate way to share what we’re reading, as well as just indulging in some beautiful book photography. Are you on Instagram? Let us know! I’m there as anni.treetops and Philippa is looking after the teatreetops account. Of course you can also find us at our other social medias, up there on the right sidebar or on the Bloggers page.
