It’s November already, and that means it’s our blogaversary. Tea in the Treetops was officially launched three years ago today! If you’d like to enter our giveaway, please scroll down.
I’d like to say a special thank you to my co-host, Philippa – thanks for chatting books with me whenever we get a chance!
Even though I haven’t posted as much this year, I am still doing plenty of reading and reviewing when I can. Thank you all of you, our readers, fellow bloggers and listeners, for continuing to support us through such a busy year.
As always, thanks are also due to the publishers and authors from Australia and around the world, who are kind enough to supply me with books to review. It’s an honour to work with you and help you to promote your books – thank you.
If this is your first visit to the Treetops, welcome! Why not check out our podcast, or our list of reviews? Or better still, leave a comment and say hi!
October
There’s not a lot to tell about October, apart from the fact that I read a lot of amazing books! I finished and loved Maggie Stiefvater’s Raven Cycle, and finally got my hands on Gemina (review coming very shortly). The Book of Whispers was the Text Prize winner for 2015 and was just as excellent as it sounded (demons and the crusades!).
One thing I did do this month (I’ll be flailing about it on a podcast episode soon) was to discover Supernatural on Netflix. Yes, I have a new fandom. Have you watched it? Please, fangirl with me! I’m four seasons in and don’t seem to be able to stop!

Yes! Supernatural is so great. I’m hooked on that show. Dean is my fav character and Crowley too. I love that they mix in some humor so it’s not entirely dark.
Angelya
Yes! There are a lot of very clever moments as well as some eye-rollers 😀 I love Dean but I also love Sam too… haven’t met Crowley just yet! No spoilers xD

Happy blogiversary! Blogging can be hard work, so every year is an achievement in my opinion. May there be many more happy years ahead!
Ah, you’ve read GEMINIA! I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on a copy. At the moment, I’m waiting to see if the publishers enter it for the Aurealis Awards. If not, I’ll have to buy my own copy (not that it’s a hardship, I just hate waiting!)
